Description of program: Brock Edwards is a natural with audiences, combining eye-opening magic, comedy, and child participation in a performance that’s entertaining, motivating, and educational. Kids simply learn more because they relate to the magic and have fun. And what they learn is invaluable—crucial lessons about saying “NO” to drugs and violence, and saying “YES” to reading.

BULLY-FREE: Teaches children what bullying is and how to avoid it. Students will also learn the difference between teasing and taunting, tattling and telling, the importance of kindness, and what to do if they are a witness to bullying. Finally, upper grades will learn about cyberbullying and why it is so destructive. Brock Edwards’ unique style combines magic, fun, and excitement to drive this important message home. This forty minute program is ideal for children five to fourteen years old.
PRINCIPLES OF CHARACTER: A fun, high energy show that teaches children about the importance of making good choices and being a person of character. The show focuses on five important principles of character: Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, and Caring. It ties in with several character education programs currently taught in schools. This forty minute program is perfect for elementary aged children.
MAGIC OF LITERATURE : combines comedy, magic, and child participation with core literature to reinforce that reading is fun. Children will be amazed when Charlotte visually weaves the image of a selected card on her web, and they will be motivated to read when they watch Tye May’s Magic Brush bring a drawing to life! This forty minute program is sure to spark the imagination and creativity of elementary aged children.
